Ferrari battery replacement worries (California owner)
Been putting off dealing with this for a few weeks now but my California has been sitting in the garage more than usual lately and I think the battery is finally starting to complain, the other day it turned over slower than I'd like and I know these cars can be finicky if the voltage drops too much. Obviously with a car like this I'm super hesitant to just call any random garage or let someone who doesn't understand these cars poke around in the engine bay, especially with all the electronics and the way everything is packaged. I was talking to a friend who has a 458 and he mentioned how important it is to get the right battery and have someone who actually knows how to handle the car without scratching anything or messing up the computer systems. Found a place online that specializes in exactly this and they sent a technician who clearly knew what he was doing, proper diagnostic gear and everything, handled the whole Professional Ferrari battery service in Abu Dhabi without a hitch. Came out the next day and honestly it was such a smooth process, I'm just relieved I don't have to worry about it dying on me mid-drive now. Anyone else here dealt with battery issues on their Italian cars? Makes me less worried about leaving it on the battery tender for too long now.
